Privacy policy

Teddy Plops is a game for children aged about 4 to 10. We built it so that it collects nothing about your child or your family.
The short version
- We don't collect any data. Nothing your child types or does in the game is sent to us or to anyone else.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- No accounts and no sign-in. There are no chats and no links to social media.
What stays on the device
To make the game personal, the app keeps a few things only on your device:
- the first name your child types in, and the age they pick (used to set the difficulty of the letters and numbers games);
- which of the four cartoon pictures they chose;
- Teddy's collar design, game progress, stars, badges, certificates and settings.
This information never leaves the device. We never see it, and the app never speaks your child's name aloud. If you delete the app, all of it is deleted too.
Purchases
The game is free to download. A grown-up can choose to buy a one-off "Full Game" unlock. It is never a subscription.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive any payment details.
- Buying, restoring purchases and saving or printing certificates all sit behind a grown-up check: a sum written in words.
- Family Sharing is supported.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app has no way to send information to us. This meets Apple's App Store rules for the Kids category, and the principles of COPPA and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code).
Sound and voice
The narrator's voice is pre-recorded and plays from the app itself. The app does not use the microphone or the camera.

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we will update the date above and describe the change in the app's release notes.
